Surprising My Husband for our 5th Wedding Anniversary PART 1
For our anniversary this year, I wanted to do something truly special for my husband, I could have gone out and purchased a gift but nothing beats having a memory you'll never forget. I'm a 'memories' type of woman so I decided to plan an elaborate surprise that would take us on an unforgettable adventure that would last us a lifetime. Little did he know, this surprise would involve a trip to Fort Lauderdale, Miami and eventually lead us on a cruise to the Bahamas.
I began planning months in advance, carefully crafting three surprise cards that would reveal each part of our journey as we completed the previous. The first card was presented to him on the day of our departure. He had no idea that we were going on an airplane, as I had told him we were going to a hotel in our home country. The look of shock and excitement on his face when we arrived at the airport and he opened his first gift which enclosed his passport and my very creative surprise boarding pass was priceless.
As we boarded our flight to Fort Lauderdale, I couldn't help but feel a sense of magic in the air. This was our first time traveling to another country together, and the experience was already shaping up to be unforgettable. After settling in, we took a stroll to a local supermarket to grab a few things for the night. Walking hand in hand down the streets of Fort Lauderdale, surrounded by the sights and sounds of a new city, was a feeling like no other.
