Surprising My Husband for our 5th Wedding Anniversary: PART 2

The Surprise Continues: From Fort Lauderdale to the Bahamas

Our surprise trip continued with a twist my husband never saw coming. After our wonderful stay in Fort Lauderdale, I had another surprise in store for him. I concocted a little white lie, now don't judge me, we all do it at times, as you can see, it was for a good cause. So, I told him we were heading to another Airbnb, but little did he know, a Lyft was on its way to take us to the cruise port!

As we journeyed to the port, I handed him an envelope containing our detailed cruise itinerary. His reaction was priceless – a mix of surprise, excitement, and gratitude. It was a moment I'll never forget, seeing him so happy and grateful for the adventure ahead. 

We arrived at the port and boarded our cruise ship, ready for a 4-day adventure to the Bahamas and Perfect Day at CocoCay. The first day onboard was a whirlwind of excitement and exploration. The ship was a floating paradise, We marveled at the ship's grandeur, enjoyed some delicious food, soaked in the pool on the pool deck and basked in the excitement of being on a cruise together.

One of the highlights of the day was the sail away party on the pool deck, we joined the festivities, dancing and celebrating the start of our cruise. It was a magical moment, realizing that I was on a ship with my husband, embarking on a new adventure together.

After exploring the ship, sampling the pools, and enjoying some ice cream, we dressed up for dinner and headed to the wind jammer dining area. The food was exquisite, the service was top-notch, and we savored in the variety of cuisine available. After dinner, we strolled through the ship and came across the opening parade in the promenade. It was a lively and colorful spectacle, with performers and music that captivated us. The ship was bustling with activity, and we were eager to experience it all.

We ended the day indulging in a few slices of delicious Sorrento's pizza before retiring to our cabin.  The first day of our cruise had flown by and we were eagerly anticipating our next stop – Nassau, Bahamas!
